To tell you the truth: The first six bands I do really listen to regularly. The following bands I like (some more than the others ;) ).... but they belong not really to my favourites.... they just belong to a list of groups I like (next to lots of others), and I could change them without problems with some other bands....

With Modern Talking ists a miracle. All people cry "NO, i can`t herar, theire are Posers" But all people arround the world know the songs.
Modern Talking Songs are pefect for Dancing. Modern Talking and Abba Songs
are verry good melodic Songs.
If everybody like Bohlen ore not is egal. The Melodic Parts are great

*This is a coverband from our area but it's awesome how great their cover songs are - they cover everything: Manowar, Nightwish, Rammstein, Amon Amarth, Metallice, Grave Digger... you can listen here to some songs: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus…endid=235859696

Might sound a bit strange but it's one of the best live bands I've ever seen.

Btw: these aren't 15 bands, but when I have to choose the very best ones, I would take these ones. I also listen to much others ;)

I think its pure jealousy. Bohlen knows how to create a Song that everyone likes or can easy listen to. I think this is the dream of many amateur song-maker, so they are jealous.
Every Modern Talking Song has a good melody and this is something that I miss at music from other bands ;) But its not only the Melody thing, Thomas Anders' voice is also a main reason why this music is so nice to listen. 2006 he released a album where he sang his favourite 80s Songs in a Bossa / Jazz Style.
Here for example is "You 're my heart, you 're my soul" as a Piano Ballad Youtube-Link. On The CD its something like Bossa-Nova :)

I can't really say, that I like Modern Talking (or like we say in German sometimes: "Modern Schwachsinn" = "Modern idiocy" 8) ). But to be fair: Yes, the voice of Thomas Anders is good. But anyway.... it is not my taste of music.

I like it hard, fast and metal! :D

exalt Carmen, but if you want Dance (with the completly body not only with the head ;)) this is any from the better bands for Dancemusik

There are so many good bands e.g. ich like HIM, Manowar, Iron Fire,...
But the most I like female fronted bands like Holyhell, Nightwish, Delain,
Within Tempation, Visions of Atlantis, ......

I detected an new group for myself, ....
check VOLBEAT out, it´s an heavy-metal - rockabilly band from kopenhagen - denmark

before the vocalist Poulsen instituted Volbeat he sang in a death-metal band.

check it out, i like the style, ....
